Anyone installed one? Curious what type of brackets they use to keep the passenger from falling off the back. Not much support in that area.
Ya, the OEM rack is rated for like 5-10#.The after market ones generally mount to an existing luggage rack, and those are generally pretty firmly mounted to the bike.
I've been thinking about mounting one on my V-Rod, but I'd have to build a hinged mount so I could have it lift up and back to allow access to the saddle bags. I've been so involved in other projects that I haven't done more than look at what hardware I'd need.

I went with this case because Murph has his own brackets.
I also got a backrest and a brake light to go with it. It holds two helmets. Hopefully it will hold a 15" laptop in a bag.
