So, i'm sitting here at 2am, trying to install Mandrake, which i just downloaded off there site. And i boot from the cd i just made, everything goes well i guess, untill it says mounting cd or something?!? well, its right after the screen where you chooose F1 for more options, or enter to normal install..
than it'll say, this shouldn't happen, rebooting etc....

i'm trying to install to a seperate hd from my windows drive. i tried disabling the windows drive in my bios but still no luck..

anyone have this problem b4, and know how to solve it?
thx!

I had the EXACT same problem. The ISO file I downloaded was only 123 MB it should be 660ish. See if your inst.iso is less then this, mine shows up as 664,423 KB. I re-downloaded the ISO file and burned it to ROM. The install went flawlessly after that.

Well I saw the file was 660Mb for download and burned 123 onto ROM I musta figured it was that "new math" or had flashbacks of my Pentium 60Mhz days.
