Installing linux with UEFI mobo.

I cannot figure out how to get fedora to install correctly on my computer, I've tried figuring the problem with a UEFI/bios tutorial on the fedora website but to no avail; I know I'm doing something wrong still but I can't figure out what. While installing I booted with the UEFI version of my Blu ray drive; I then did a custom partition setup, I made a \boot\efi partition as well as a normal \boot partition and the rest of the mount points set up pretty basic. It still couldn't boot correctly, do any of you guys or gals have an idea or can point me over to website tutorial or something? thanks

You should only need the single EFI type boot partition. I know you aren't using Ubuntu, but it might be worth downloading just to see how it sets up the partitions for EFI. It's probably something simple...like the boot loader is looking in the wrong place or the EFI boot partition has the wrong system ID.
