Installing Linux after WinME and Win2000

Does anyone know how you could go about installing Redhat Linux 7. on a system that already has WinMe and Win2000 installed.

I installed WinMe first then Win2000. and use Windows OS loader to select between the 2 OS's. I dont know what will happen if i tried installing Linux. Would LILO over write win2000 boot loader? there by deleting the other 2 OS's.

It won't overwrite ntloader. it will add LiLo (linux loader) which will come up first. you can choose between linux and dos. if you choose dos, you'll then get the nt loader. if you get rid of linux, lilo will stay - a real pain. to get rid of it, boot to dos and fdisk /mbr.

Couldn't you always make a Linux boot disk and just use that when you want to boot to Linux? Without the disk, Windows would boot normally.

I didn't install LILO. After you installed win9X\Win2K then install Linux without adding lilio.. Make a Floppy though.. Then add Linux to your Win2K bootloader. You can do this manually or use a program called boot part... Works great for me..

... This question as already been asked several times in this forum...
