Installing Kingston SSD as only HD?

JustOneQuestion

Hi folks.

I just bought a Kingston SSD 128 GB.

I have a few options and I would like to know the best to install it:

1st - Get rid at all of the SATA HD (1TB) and replace it with the SSD. I will just install Windows 7 Home Premium plus the needed software. For personal files and such, I will use an external USB 1.5TB drive.

2nd - Install the SSD as Primary HD (where the OS and stuff will install) and keep as well the internal SATA drive installed. I am not sure if this is good or not. I just do not want the PC to be reading the SATA drive and loose performance (reason I bought a SSD) I will then get rid of my external HD. My PC reads the external HD at all times (always connected through USB) and it is a big loss in performance.

3rd - Another option?

My machine is:

Intel Pentium i5
8 GB RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium
1.5 TB SATA Drive installed (intended to be replaced with a Kingston 128 GB SSD)

Thanks a lot!

2nd - windows won't read almost anything* on regular drive unless you store operating system files on there

*superfetch will still use it, but it does not degrade performance
