I bout a dell vostro 1400 laptop with integrated intel x3100 video card. The chipset is a 965 express.
The problem I am having is that I must download drivers from Dell's page as opposed to Intels directly. If I try to install the correct intel drivers it gives me an error and suggests I ge the proper drivers form the manufacturers web page.
Dells drivers are sorely out of date! As a result I need the intel drivers to run applications that should be supported but are not.
Is there any way to get passed this lock?
