Installing H50 - Backplate not lining up

EDIT: Figured it out! Mod can delete this.

So i'm having some trouble installing my corsair H50 cooler to my asus sabertooth z77 mobo. The back plate won't line up with the 4 slots.

I've made sure the little pins are in the corresponding sockets (1156) but it just doesn't fit, am I doing something wrong?
