I have it downloaded.....can i install it by using SmartFTP? IMO there read me file is hard to understand, kinda sucks. can someone help me. how do i install this using smartftp? 😕

Yesm you can: Follow the directions in Mucman's post. Replace the console FTP client's commands with smartFTP's equivelant commands.
 
I still can't decode their help page, if someone could translate it for me that would be great. I can SSh and FTP my websever but I can't figure this out for the life of me.
 
Since I use AddAction as a webhost, they have an autoinstall script for the 4images Photo gallery (http://www.4homepages.de/). I like it quite a bit and the community seems to be pretty responsive (I've had to tweak a few things). Just thought I'd give you an alternative.
