installing front right cv joint on a 93 mercury villager

hey guys. let me start off with the fact that i know NOTHING about cars.

my 1993 mercury villager needs the right front cv join replaced

would this be hard to do myself?

how much would it cost to get professionally done?

can someone gimme a link to the part?

If you don't know anything about cars, I would NOT recommend attempting the replacement of a half shaft yourself.

Here are some axles for price reference: half shafts

Not sure on how many hours of shop labor is the norm for this job, so I can't give you a price on labor.

No, don't even think about it. Give it to a mechanic what will let you watch this procedure. It is not only difficult for newbs, but also a 15 year old car screws don't cooperate easily.
