Hi, I have an Antec P180 case and I need some help installing the front panel leds on my ATX DFI Lanparty SLI-DR motherboard. Here are the pin assignment on the motherboard for each connector (from left to right):
<HDD-LED> (1)HDD (2)HDD LED Power
<ATX-SW> (1)PWRBT- (2)PWRBT+
<RESET> (1)H/W Reset (2)Ground
<PWR-LED> (1)LED Power (-) or Standby Signal (2)LED Power (+) (3)LED Power (+)
1. Do I plug in the connectors with the labels facing up or down? I understand that the reset connector needs to be plugged in with the label facing down since the manual says "the white wire for each connector should be on the ground pin" but only the reset has a ground pin.
2. Does the connector labeled POWER SW belong in the ATX-SW (this is how the DFI Manual describes the ATX-SW "depending on the settings in the bios setup, this switch is a 'dual function power button' that will allow your system to enter the soft-off or suspend mode")
3. I only have one HDD so do I use the connector labeled HDD I or HDD II?
