Installing flat panel TV on wall question.

Im wondering if you dont have a certified professional install your flat panel TV on the wall, it voids your warranty with the manufacturer. So if i were to install it on my own, it would void the warranty? anyone with links providing information or if anyone knows, its appreciated.

..sounds unlikely. I know costco sells wall mounts right next to their panels and there was a Philips lcd panel that came with both desk top and wall mount. what happened?? did ya drop it?
