Installing drivers in windows 7

I Downloaded drivers for my 360 controller so I could get rumble in some unsupported games.

It worked on my previous installation of windows 7, but after formating and reinstalling when I try to install the drivers now windows give the error message "the INF file you selected is not supported by this method of installation"

How are you trying to install the drivers? Are you using Device Manager? Does your 360 box show in D/M? If so, can you right click it and select Update Drivers?
