Installing DirectX8 after SP2 in Win2K?

I just set up a new pc with Win2K, then installed Service Pack-2, now can I install Direct-X? or did I miss my chance?

You should be able to install it anytime you want.

SP2 doesn't install DirectX 8.0a components. You would still have to install it anyways. Go right ahead.
