Installing Chipset FAn

Hey whassup everyone

Just needed some advice. I am installing a chipset cooler on my motherboard, and I need to know whether i can use my Arctic Silver 5 instead of the stuff that came with the cooler. (Its a coolermaster northbridge chipset cooler). Thanks

Also, how much of whatever grase should i apply, and how should i spread it on the base of this cooler . Below is a link to the cooler's site.

If i could also get advice or instructions on cleaning the chipset ( nforce4) before application, that would be great

that has thermal tape applied so i'd just use that.

as for cleaning it, isoprophyl alcohol, purer the better or if its stubborn, i use acetone followed by a wash of isoprophyl.

just be careful not to scratch or chip the nf4 as i've seen people ruin their mobo like that. never happened to me thank God.
