installing Buslink USB in XP HOme and startup wants an administrator

am running XP Home. I'm trying to install the USB drivers for a Buslink USB PCMCIA adapter. The setup program tells me "You have to be logged on as an administrator to install Buslink USB Hardward"
Its XP HOme. I am the administrator. No one else logs on. The only Logon name available is mine and it says "computer administrator".
What am I missing ??

Go to Start --> Control Panel --> User Accounts

Verify that your account is Administrator level security. If it is not change it to be. (This will require an administrator login)

You may have created an account a while back called Computer Administrator because there is no such account by default. Default account is "Administrator"
