I will be receiving an OEM ND-3550A (NEC DVDR)...are there any issues in installing it?
I read the info on the NEC site and they say I should need no drivers or anything...just wasn't sure if the Dual Asspect changed anything.
I plan to pull the stock CDR/DVD and replace it with this new one.....since it is OEM, I have no drivers with it...do I need to download them or will it be easily recognized by XP Home....
I will probably load in this order:
IDE1a - 80GB OS/Programs
IDE1b - Secondary data drive (probably a spare 120)
IDE2a - NEW DVD R
IDE2b- 160GB SG (Mainly Data)
I am working to get my MP3s either on an external enclosure, or on a data server....
Seconday Question...I have an older version of Nero, will that work with basic DVD R? Do I need special/recent software to write DL DVDs?
Thanks for any info.
