Installing an Antenna in an internal wireless card

I own a Gateway 275 Tablet/Laptop which has an Intell 2200 B/G wireless card. How can I improve reception on my laptop?

Can I build and install an antenna?
Wear more foil or bling bling?
Buy a USB antenna?

Help would be nice!

biggest selection of antenna's such for wifi i know of..

Your laptop already has an antenna inside. Usually it'a diversity type too, so you should be getting decent overall reception. I wouldn't mess around with it. If you're wardriving, consider a PCMCIA wireless card that has an antenna jack for an external unit. It plugs right in. Orinocco gold cards are one of such types.
