Hi peps

Quick question about insatlling the Aero7 cooler.

It has TWO cables, one for the PSU and one for motherboard header > Do you need to connect BOTH or just to the PSU?

I have used a globalwin cooler in the past that had a similar setup and was told to ONLY use the psu connection and never the mb header, something to do with too much power being drained.

Thanks very much

cool, thats what I thought just wasnt sure as the GlobinWin cooler says not to, and the Aero7 insturctions don't mention it.

Would you reset the BIOS b4 installing a new CPU?
(MB is Abit KD7-Raid & cpu is XP2800 barton, upgrading from XP2000)

Thanks m8

Anyone? ... do you have to clear the CMOS/BIOS before you can install a new CPU?

TIA

no, the only time you have to worry about it is if your running manual settings or if you have to adjust the FSB
