Installing a toggle switch...for my antenna

my car has a power antenna, and its really annoying when i turn on the system to play a cd, the antenna raises up too. i want to have full control of when it goes up and down, so i thought about installing a toggle switch.

can i just get an on and off toggle switch and break the power line that goes to the antenna and insert a toggle switch some where in between the palyer and where the power meets up with antenna? i was looking at radioshack.com and it appears that not all toggle switches are alike. let me know if theres something eles i should take in conseration. i have my black electric tape. ill have the battery disconnected while i do this.
 
definitely...i think its simple process..but im just confused...im go talk to the radio shack guys...see what they say and ill share it with you...anyone eles have an idea?
