So, I installed Windows 2000 Professional on an semi-old computer. I installed the drivers for the LAN, video, etc. The driver for the SCSI controller card is already "enabled" and the latest driver that I need, according to windows. The problem is that the second SCSI hard drive that I installed after I installed Windows 2000 (aka it hasn't been partitioned) comes up in device manager in system, under the control panel. But windows doesn't recognize the hard drive and hasn't made a D: drive as a hard drive.
Windows 2000 Pro
PIII (yes, a luggish p3) 800mHz
384MB PC133 SDRAM
Seagate SCSI ultra2 8.0GB hard drive
HP SCSI ultra2 9.0GB hard drive (secondary drive)
Diamond Multimedia Systems SCSI controller card (so, old the manufacturer's website doesn't mention it)
If you could help, it'd appreciate it.
