installing a second HD in Win2k, NEED HELP!

I just want to install a second HD in my box, but I'm an idiot and don't know how to format it. Win2k see's it, and it's installed properly, I just can't write to it etc. or see it in windows explorer. Can somebody help a poor uneducated computer user???

Right click My Computer --> Manage --> Disk Management

You may have to right click your disk and select "import foreign disk" or you can right click it and select "format".
