Installing a PC for as cheap as possible

I have no idea what is good or not. I haven't built a computer in over two years. Can someone suggest to me a good CPU/MOBO/Graphic Card/Memory to be able to play SIM2 really well? I'm fixing this computer up for my girlfriend. I'm not trying to spend more than $300 but I probably will have to.

Sims 2 is decently graphics intense for a sim I'd get a $69 128 but 9600LE from newegg.com/
