Installing a new system

I am running win2k. AMD Tbird(1000mz), Iwill KK266, Geforce 2MX(ASUS) and an SBlive.
I am running the lastest detontor drivers, I have the newest SBlive drivers,
but what drivers do people recomend for the chipset? Windows defalted w/ the MS drivers.
Should i be using the 4in1s? I tired installing them, but it wouldn't let me install the chipset drivers.
What about the AMD APG minipatch? I dont think that i have this.
I get 80 FPS(demo002) in quake at High Quality. Is this about right?
I have been searching around, but i couldn't find any of the rest of this

My 3DMark2001 score is 1178. There are celerons running @600 getting higher scores.
I have to be doing something wrong.

If you don't have the AGP patch installed, you need to. After that your scores might go up quite a bit, but don't expect huge FPS out of a Geforce2 MX card especially in Win2K, that is your limiting factor at the moment.

I was under the impression that gaming was ok w/ win2K
That there wasn't a big performance hit

Install the 4 in 1's. You don't need the ide driver (if you are using sp2). You definatly need the agp driver in that pacage.

YAY! I'm getting 90.2 FPS on High Quality!
I'm now gonna run 3DMark 2001 and tell you how that goes.
If all goes well, then its time to OC

I got 2255 on 3DMark 2001.
Much better (I passed that celeron@600 too 😉)
I'm gonna see how hot my Tbird is running, then Its time to OC.
After I get a good speed,
I'm gonna OC my ASUS(Hey, It has a Blue Orb on It...😀)
