Installing a new motherboard...

Lest

I'm getting a new motherboard for my system...which is an entirely different chipset and manufacter and BIOS than my old one. What should I do to ensure operation on my comp?

You mean like software wise? You need to install windows and all your programs again if you want a stable computer.

Just do a Windows repair. That usually works fine. That way you don't have to reinstall all your programs.

It's not worth the hassle, do a full fresh install.

Even if a repair would work fine (not that I'd know), you're probably due for a reformat anyway. Good incentive to clean things up a bit and back up your data.
