Installing a new Hard-drive

Hello, massive computer newb here.
I built my own pc, now im low on HD space, and i want to put in another.
How do i do it without messing things up?
(a link to some place would suffice just as well as a response, but thank you for your time no matter what.)

You can just plug it in if you're running windows. Windows will take care of the rest.
