Installing a AS3 on a 9800xt?

I was fortunate enough to have someone donate a 9800xt for a project I am doing for myself and then donating to my wife's 3rd grade class. The owner of the 9800xt said the fan was making some noise and said it should be replaced. I was able to get a AS3 off ebay but have never installed one before.

Can anyone help me out on how to install the thing and if/where I should use some AS paste on it.
