Installing a 3.2 P4, socket 775

I'm getting ready to tackle my first build and i was wondering if you guys hand any tips/techniques on installing the 775 CPU and heat sink.

Any potential "gotchas" that i should look out for? Should the thermal pad be removed and replaced with the artic silver paste?


It looks pretty simple and straight forward - just want to make sure i'm not missing anything.
