You just put a single bridge over the pair of cards to link them, and then turn on CrossfireX in the drivers. There's not a whole lot to it.

Well :\ I did

But the bridge connectors that came with the board are SLI sized. I kinda was figuring that before I opened the package.

They will be fine, but if I was you I would get a longer Crossfire bridge so they will run cooler and quieter.

I'm going to leave them far apart like that. I'll just need to get a long Cross-Fire bridge. Which makes me wonder; Do I need 2 or 1 bridge?

SLI sized? As in they're SLI bridges and not CF bridges? Or are you saying they're too short (they come in 3 sizes).

1 bridge.

They are nVidia compatible. The Classified e760 is SLI certified :\ (yes, they are SLI bridges)

So I need to go to MicroCenter or order one from New Egg

So your cards didn't come with the CF bridge? Yes you would need to go get one then.

No, they came with bridges but they aren't long enough. I am using the second configuration with the cards furthest apart. I need to find a good vendor that sells ATI bridges (long bridges)

Yeah, I'm seeing them too (used 100mm)

Looks like I might have to resort to flea-bay for a dream machine to work, hah :\
Yep. Since bridges come with all CF-capable retail cards, there's not a huge market. I'm surprised that someone packed the short bridge with a 5870 though; that's obviously short-sighted.

I looked them up on ebay, they are surprisingly expensive for the long ones. Usually floating around $25

Well I guess that sucks nutz :)

So the stock bridge will only reach from slot 1-3 which makes the cards very close together which for decent temps one would have to watercool the cards?

I did look around also and the only place I could find them was flee-bay also :(

I did find this " Lotes p/n-AAA-ATI-002-KO3 " for the longer version which in pictures is the Asus one anyways.

Call up your motherboard vendor and tell them to send you a long bridge.

My MSI P55 board came with 2 SLI connectors and 2 CF connectors (one long, one short)...which doesn't even make any sense because the the third PCI-E slot is x4 speed and so I'd never use it for SLI or CF anyway.

Failing to include them is bullshit.

@ Kenmitch - yeah, I think the cards are meant to be configured in an h20 setup according to the setup on this board. I won't be doing that anytime soon, that's for sure. Although I do have the parts, I can just see myself needing the x58 loop I have setup already for an overclocking build.

I also found a bunch of "crapsus" bridges which I'm assuming were from the P7T X58 or WS boards. Luckily I did find one that doesn't have the Asus name on it. I bought it and there is only 1 left on the sellers page....

@ Matrices - I think EVGA has got this loophole covered as the board makes no statement that I am aware of about Crossfire support, just SLI, so I think they would deny me if I asked; which I agree to doing but I think it's a far shot. Anyways, the "100mm" Crossfire bridge has been purchased..
