Installed win2k on gateway solo 5300, no cd/floppy swap software on gateways site!!:(

is it ok if i just rip out the cd module and shove in the floppy whenever? the unit came with win me and that had a swap utility on it. i'm not damaging anything right? does gateway hide these appz?
