Well, I'm an MSDN Subscriber, and I just downloaded and installed the release version of Win XP Pro, and I have to say that it's pretty rock solid. I can't play Might and Magic VIII on it tho.
Overall, it seems to perform better at launching applications, and detecting my hardware, although I don't think it will use my TV Card (Crap ).
).
If it wasn't for the software activation thing, I really would love it. But I do hate the concept of paying for separate licenses on multiple machines when i'm the only one that uses it. I've got a game machine and a development machine for workstations, and I'll probably leave 2000 on the development machine.
I know there have been a lot of posts about it, but I wanted to share my praise for a very stable product.
