Installed Win 7 on 2TB HD, cant access some forum sites etc

I am posting this from my other PC. I have installed a new WIN 7 on a new HD. I can access only a few websites like yahoo, ebay etc. When I try to access this site, it goes to the main page and when the Forum icon is clicked, it says it done and the page is blank. This is the wierd. I have AVG installed, IE8... This also happens when I go to my bookmarked car sites... Is there something that could be enabled blocking me from going to these sites? Thanks
 
I've seen some weird issues due to incorrect system time or bad wireless drivers, and even had PNG issues with Windows. You could try creating a new user account and see if the issue persists (helps for PNG issue at least).
 
Does AVG install a browser plug-in? If so, try to disable it in IE via Tools and Manage Addons to see if it makes a difference.
