if you look, there is a jbl amp in one of the pics, it is the crown amp, one guy has 2 of them. they put out an astounding 12kw of power. (with a pricetag of course)

hehe, I think I've just given up on the sonotube idea...I'm currently designing an Adire alignment 2x2x4 sub table...just need to get some ideas for a finish (thinking of using a laminate, like brushed aluminum, granite or carbon fiber)...it's gonna take a while 🙂

Well, I don't have the money to buy a whole tube, and w/o the demand for DIY audio equipment around here, there would be nobody to sell it to...so it'll be easier just to buy the exact amount of wood that I need and build it. Plus it'll look a little better, if I do it right.

Sonotube's not all that expensive, my 12' tube was $110 or so.

I eventually hope to sell 6' of it for $50, but I haven't finished my subs yet.
