so i just installed seagate 600 ssd and now i am having an issue. the issue i am having is that the computer doesnt wake up from standby mode in windows 7.

any suggestions on what the issue might be? is it the ssd that is causing this or is it the video card?

pc sepcs are:

powercolor 7850
nvidia 680i a1 mobo
e6850
seagate 600 ssd

That's a different build from a while back.

Anyways back to my original issue.

As I am lying in bed, I was thinking what should my boot devices be setup as. Right the computer is setup as

First boot priority: hard drive
Second: cd rom
Third is none.

Could that be my issue since I have windows installed on the ssd?

How do I make the ssd my first boot priority?

Via the BIOS settings.. however, if you do that, make sure the boot loader is on the SSD, and not the HD!
Also check your setting for power in the BIOS, it may be turned off.

If nothing else works, you may as well try removing the second set of RAM and just use one set that is perfectly matched.
