installed sp1 now i cant see my other computers??

ok my network was working fine, then i installed sp1, and now i only have my laptop in my workgroup. i tryed running the network config wizard and nothing. i can ping all the computers, the other 3 computers can see each other..


any suggestions

Welcome to AT Network Forum.

The more you run the Network Wizard the less you will see any thing.

Reconfigure the Network Manually.

ok, i reset all the shares, all the users, workgroups are all MSHOME

still i cannot see any other computer from my laptop

Check your network connections in the control panel. The *&#@^! wizard sometimes adds a network bridge. Delete that thing if it's there. You should only have your network adapter(s) in the list.

SP1 wouldn't have turned on the XP firewall by any chance, would it? This will block file sharing if it's on.
