INstalled service pack 2 and computer wont start...

It goes through the beginning diagnostics and then goes to a screen that goes "We apologize but windows didn't start succesfully blah blah blah and then gives you a few options like start in safe mode or start normally etc. Obviously none of these options work and i have no clue how to get windows started to remove the service pack. Any advice on how i can remove service pack 2 would be greatly appreciated.

1) wrong forum
2) last known good
3) since you obviously have access to a 2nd computer you should slipstream SP2 into your XP cd, reboot to the XP cd, and do a repair install

I used a professional edition to upgrade it and it seems to have done the trick.
