Ok last week my psu died, So i got a new one installed it connected cords and then before connecting anything else i just put in the power cord and tried to start it and nothing happened psu fans didn't come on. It did nothin like it was not hooked up right. Is there a way to test to see if psu is on and working. I really hope that my mobo isn't fried. It doesn't look like it. I thourghly took out all the parts and inspected them and nothing looked wrong so I put them back and waited for the psu. Maybe there is something i did wrong connecting the cords. Anyone have input?

well i think the psu is workin because the capicators on the mobo are getting hot and the can't get hot unless electrical current goes through them. Anyways now i have to figure out what is wrong with my computer.
My mobo is chaintech vnf3-250 if anyone has any ideas to whats wrong please help. I mean i thought that at least the psu fans would come on if the mobo was not working but nothing turns on at all.

any help and also is anyone not able to log into newegg or add anything to a cart i think that part of their site is down.
Before I buy a new mobo I just wanted to get other people's take on the situation
