I just installed my old Voodoo3 2000 card into my parents computer and it boots up fine, but after the windows splash screen I dont get any video? It let me install it fine and didn't give me any errors, I know the card was working when it was pulled out, what could be wrong?? I know there computer was running very hot, could that do it? I have the computer off right now and am letting it cool off, but what could be causing it, and how could I fix it. How do I boot up WIN98 in safe mode. Thanks for any help.

Did you uninstall the old video drivers first? Whenever you install a new video card you should always boot once with the standard VGA drivers installed.
To boot into safe mode, just keep hitting F6 (or F8 I always forget which) while it is booting and you will get a prompt as to how you want to boot the machine. Just pick safe mode and good luck.

Yup it was a mixture of that (4 other video cards installed) and about 7-8 other monitors installed. cleaned both of them out and it works great now, thanks.
