Installed new router, fails Speedtest's Ping Test?

I just installed my father in law's new router, a Rosewill RNX-N150RT. Install was a snap but I went to Speedtest.net to check his speeds and it won't clear the ping test. I'm getting the message "Latency Test Error: Latency Test returned an error while trying to read the latency file." Is there some setting within the router that would block speedtest?

Probably the firewall feature blocking pings.

I'm behind a double-nat, and I also get that problem.

Uncheck 'ignore ping from WAN port'

"Ignore Ping Packet From WAN Port - Enable or Disable Ignore Ping Packet From WAN
Port. The default setting is disabled. If enabled, the ping packet from the Internet cannot
access the Router."
