Installed New Memory, Now Memory Test Continues To Loop, Help

I recently installed Crucial 512mb PC2700 2.5ns. I already have 2 sticks of Samsung PC2700 256mb 2.5ns. Now during a cold bootup, when memory does a memory test and it slowly counts up it stops at 1,004,000KB and then starts over at 0 and does it again. This continues to loop over and over until I press ESC to skip the memory test. I am getting no errors and everything appears to be running fine. But I wan't to make sure I am getting all the memory. When in Windows XP system screen it shows 1.0GB of memory.

How do I stop it from looping and lock into the correct amount of ram? Does the 512mb stick need to be in the first channel? I have 3 memory channels on my ASUS P4333 board.
