Installed new harddrive now having problems with win2k login.

Hello, i installed a new harddrive along with win2k. I remember the last time i installed i selected an option to remember my password and username. For some wierd reason i cannot possibly find it now, the only resemblance is the setting to check or uncheck the setting to "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" This is not the option. When I select this I cannot use the network anymore...
I'll look around but any help would be appreciated.

You're one-third of the way there. You've also got to select the default user that windows is to automatically log on, and you've got to tell networking to use windows logon as the network logon.
