Installed new fans, Need advice

installed two new system fans into my case ( 2500rpm, .13A ). One in front, and one to exhaust at the back. The main reason for installing these fans was because my cpu was running too hot ( 66 degrees celcuis at 100% CPU usage ). My main problem is even after I installed these fans, my cpu is still at the same temperature when it's at 100% CPU usage, only difference is it cools down very rapid now to it's idle temp of 45 degrees celcuis.Don't know what else to do, since I think surely the intel cpu fan should be good enough and not need replacement.

300 W PSU (Exhuast).

btw, I installed the fans according to the AMD diagram to proper cooling.

You need to create negative pressure in the case, therefore you need more of an intake than you do an exhaust.

For instance, 2 fans in the front and 1 in the back would be better.

I think you mean Intel diagram

Try taking the side off your case, exposing it to room-temp air. If this lowers your CPU temperature, then you have insufficient cooling in your case, even with those added fans.

And, as DannyBoy says, you will want more cool air being pushed in, which will also stop dust being pulled in through all the cracks etc in the case, which can settle on the heatsink causing further heat buildup.

CPU's are designed to survive up to about 80-90 degrees C, so unless your computer is unstable, or you experience periodic slowdowns (due to the P4's thermal throttling) then you really don't have too much to worry about

I did remove the side cover. Same result. Even moved my case to a more ventilated area. Also the same result.

actually you need to balance the airflow in and out to maximize airflow. radial fans are lousy at fighting back pressure.

if you do have good airflow, then your cooler sucks, or is improperly installed. get decent heatsink paste and apply very thin even layer.
