installed KDE3 in mandrake 8.2 -- need help pleaaaaaase

ok, i installed all the rpms and rebooted. and when it comes back, it automatically loads into kde 2.2.2 i want it to ask for a login and password, no auto login. also if i wanted to have auto login, how would i change it to kde3? TIA

Did you uninstall KDE2.2 before installing KDE 3 ?

Time to alter you 'Xsessions'. Maybe your '.xinitrc' too.

ahh figured it out. you have to delete the .kde/ and .kde3/ hidden folder in your home dir. =) that fixes all and then you just make sure you log into regular KDE and its kde3 really
