if you purchased it at a B&M, exchange it to see if it's a defective unit or your rig.

I have a dfi board too. I have updated everything, as soon as I plug in my tv tuner card, I cant boot up. I asked some people in the dfi forums, no help. I just put it back in my old p3 and it works fine. I think dfi has a few problems that none seem to confront, including maxtor serial ata drives and internal tv tuner cards. My card is a kworld. What is yours?

try reseating the video card, it might have been loosened when you installed the tv card.

yeah there is a deffeinate problem. Its not reseating or even drivers. It was a clean install for me before any drivers were on. When I say drivers I mean from the tvtuner company. I think it is a hardware problem, something that is unique to tv tuners.
Good luck, did you try a different slot?

You didn't install the TV tuner card into the PCI slot directly below your video card did you :(? I've found that even if you install a large one (Hauppauge for example) three slots below, it can still raise full load core temps on a GPU by 10 C or more due to bad airflow.

The other possibly I can think of is you damaged the GPU in the process of installing the tuner card.

not the case for me, put it in the old computer and works fine. New computer works great with out the tv tuner, I always put it at lease two slots away from the graphic card, and usually on the bottom just for air flow.
