the drive thats doin this is a WD Caviar21200 4.3gb

DOes anyone have any idea wats goin on?

you need to make it compatible with your computer first, so to speak 🙂

boot in DOS, and type:

fdisk.exe

now go through the menus, it should be logical enough. make sure your computer doesn't feck up during this process.

when it's done, you might have to reboot (can't remember), still in dos type:

format x:

with x: being the drive letter (will most likely be d: ) (EDIT: lol those smilies made it show up like "will most likely be d🙂" 😛

wait until it's done and now you should be able to see your drive just fine 🙂

if it is not your C drive you can do it from windows, just go to command line and type "command"
