Installed a firewall but Windows doesn't see it

Hi, I recently installed the Comodo Firewall but it seems like every other time I start my computer, Windows gives the popup red x shield that says I don't have a firewall. Did this mean I didnt set up Comodo correctly?

Does the red shield go away eventually? It could be that the Security Center service is starting before your firewall service.

no, it stays there until i restart my computer. It seems odd because sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't.

check the website/support for Comodo and see if it is compatible with Security Center and/or how to get it to interface

Comodo Personal Firewall shows up in the security center of my PC. My guess is a bad install, use add/remove programs to remove it, then install it again.
