Installation complete but wrong drive?

I just installed the game Max Payne. After the installation, I clicked on the game icon to run it but it states" "PLease insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application."

I have a DVD ROM and a CD-RW drive. No matter where I put the CD, I still get the same message.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Please advise.

Doesn't sound like it's not recognizing the CD. Sounds like it thinks the CD entered is not the correct CD. This is not uncommon with pirated software. If you purchased the software legally, contact Customer Support.

Oh, but before you contact them, try using the latest patch so as to fix any potential problems/bugs that they have already fixed.
