Alright, here's the deal, our school gave us all free copies of Norton Antivirus (Corporate Edition).
I installed it about a year ago, no problems.
Then last week they gave us all "updated versions"
I uninstalled the old version
went to install the new version (noticing in the mean time it's the same version)
BUT
when I run the install program it just goes "Initializing Install..." and then closes.
It's only a problem on my computer, did same thing on other computers, but it worked seamlessly.
I've searched the registry and the HDD for "Symantec" and "NAVNT" and deleted all entries (after first failure) and it still does the same thing, yet other installs work fine.
Any ideas?
Oh, already tried a 2nd download (to eliminate corrupt download issue).
