Install Windows using a flash drive?

I just ordered a new samsung NC10 netbook. I want to format it and install windows xp on it. Can I use a 16gb flash drive to install windows? My windows xp installation is only 200 megs. Could I boot from the flash drive and run the installation just like a cd drive would do?
