I have an old laptop with a floppy but no cdrom. I have a usb cdrom but i couldnt get it to load in dos. It has a lan jack, and a boot to lan option, so how do i go about doing this?

make a floppy that has dos and the lan driver.
boot to it. copy c:\i386 from a system with windows (2000 or newer) you wanna copy.
then run winnt.exe to start the install from the dos prompt.
edit: u copy i386 from the cd on the other system (usually d:\i386)
