Install win2k on slave drive?

I thought that you had to install it on a master, but when I go to install win2k it gives me the option to install on a drive that is a slave and it does not give me an error when I choose that drive.

Can you install windows on a slave drive?

If not what happens when you try?

The reason I'm asking and not just trying it is because I have tried on this computer to install on both the master and the slave drive, I get a blue screen every time, I'm trying to swap out parts but I don't want to waste my time trying to install on a slave drive if it's not going to work.
